As I sit back and take stock of this year, my heart is overflowing with gratitude and joy. This year has been nothing short of transformative. Each moment, each challenge, and each victory has left an indelible mark on my heart, and I can’t wait to start a new chapter of my life come 2025.
One of my most profound experiences this year has been the work of God to bring forgiveness and resolution of every known relational conflict and misunderstanding, past or present. Where there was tension, peace now reigns. Where there were misunderstandings, clarity and forgiveness have bridged the gaps. These moments of restoration have not only strengthened my relationships but have also taught me the beauty of humility, vulnerability, and the power of genuine reconciliation. It feels like a weight has been lifted, and I am incredibly thankful for the gift of harmony.
Spiritually, this has been a year of unparalleled growth and consecration. God’s word has been my anchor, guiding me into deeper truths and transforming me in ways I never imagined. One highlight has been completing the Bible plan for the seventh time by the end of November! Unlike the last years, where supervision was a key motivator, this time, I walked through it with sheer determination and hunger for God’s word. Every chapter I read felt like an intimate conversation with God, and each day brought fresh revelation. I believe it is very important for us not to take the word of God for granted or rather grow familiar because every day, God means what He says and for that reason, we ought to take Him at His word. Every revelation that comes to your spirit, takes you to another level.
I am also grateful to God for the way the WiGTyT (Who is God To You Today) initiative has flourished in ways I could only dream of. The articles, the conversations—they’ve touched lives, restored hope, and strengthened relationships. Hearing testimonies of how WiGTyT has sparked transformation in people’s relationships and their walk with God has been and still is humbling and inspiring.
For that reason I was inspired to rebrand and build something more beautiful for our experience since we celebrated three years. As we rebrand and prepare to migrate to a new platform by January 1st, 2025, excitement fills the air. WiGTyT is stepping into a new chapter, and I’m thrilled about what lies ahead. Even more, we are launching a WiGTyT Experiences journal to encourage a disciplined and reflective approach to daily experiences with God. The journal, which will be available late this December, is affordable and the means of obtaining it will be shared soon—and I can’t wait to see how it shapes people’s lives in.
This year has also been a rollercoaster of growth in my professional life. Balancing the demands of a hectic job, navigating the complexities of workplace dynamics, and working with ‘fascinating’ bosses have been both challenging and rewarding. These experiences have stretched me, sharpened my skills, and given me a deeper appreciation for resilience and adaptability. I’ve learned to thrive in the chaos and cherish the lessons that each day brings.
On a lighter note though, the friendships I’ve been blessed with have been a cornerstone of my joy and growth. These relationships have not only enriched my life but have also given me the privilege of making a meaningful impact in others’ lives. Whether it’s through shared moments of inspiration, deep conversations, or simply being present for one another, these connections have been a source of strength and inspiration and I’m forever grateful.
As I look back on this year of priestly consecrations, my heart swells with gratitude for all that has been accomplished and the growth that has taken place. Every moment has been a testimony of God’s faithfulness and grace. I am eagerly looking forward to the new year, with its promises of greater impact, deeper connections, and continued transformation.
Here’s to a year well-lived and to the exciting chapters yet to come.
To God be all the glory!
